The Latin American Conference on the Sustainability of Fisheries and Aquaculture was held in Valas Port, Chile, from October 12 to 14.The meeting was organized by the Mexican Commission for the Promotion of Fisheries and Aquatic Products (COMEPESCA) and the Chilean National Fisheries Association (SONAPESCA), which is the largest fisheries association in the country.
